Ski area

Since the beginning of the Corona pandemic, the Montafon has been one of the regions with relatively few infections. In order to guarantee guests a safe and carefree winter holiday in this winter, the following measures are being taken:

  • Mask / buff in ski lifts, ski depots, ski bus and in the queue at the lift
  • Regular disinfection of the lift cabins by means of 100% biological atomisation
  • Disinfection dispensers at the entrance of lift stations and mountain restaurants
  • Disinfection of rental equipment at sports shops
  • Weekly testing of employees in hotels, restaurants, ski schools, ski lifts, etc.
  • Mask / buff in supermarket and other public areas such as when entering restaurants and terraces
  • Many bars/restaurants offer the menu digitally by means of QR code
  • Après-ski is severely restricted and is only allowed while seated

Appart Laijola

For your and our safety, we have taken the following measures:

  • Mask / buff in all public areas such as reception, corridors and ski cellar
  • Corona protection screens at the reception desk
  • Check-in with max. 1 person per family/group
  • Disinfection dispensers in all buildings
  • Temperature measurement of all guests on arrival
  • Extra cleaning of the apartments and public areas, cleaning staff wear masks and gloves while working
  • Disinfection in the apartments of sensitive surfaces such as door handles and tabletops
  • The wellness area will be closed this winter due to Corona regulations. It is practically not possible to disinfect sufficiently in a way that your safety can be guaranteed

Reservation & Cancellation

At the moment the normal booking & cancellation conditions are applicable, a copy of these conditions will be sent to you when you make an offer or make a reservation. Because of Covid-19 we apply the following attractive conditions:

  • Final payment is due only 2 weeks before arrival
  • In the event of a travel warning for the Montafon by the home country at 1 week prior to the arrival day: free of charge rebooking to another comparable period and payments made will be transferred to the new booking
  • If the border is officially closed on the day of arrival: rebooking free of charge to another comparable period and payments made will be transferred to the new booking or refund of the rental price
  • If the ski area is/will be closed by the authorities: rebooking free of charge to another comparable period and payments made will be transferred to the new booking or reimbursement of the rental sum in proportion to the days of holiday lost

All other forms of cancellation are subject to our normal terms and conditions as stated in point 7 of the general terms and conditions of reservation.

Insurance

Our partner European Travel Insurance offers a good cancellation insurance that covers sickness/contamination by Covid-19, both prior to and during the holiday. As a service this insurance can be taken out via Laijola together with the reservation of an apartment.

Fortunately, the travel insurance of many companies also offers regular cover in countries with a travel warning, e.g. for medical expenses, theft, loss, etc.
